Refund policy

1. Our Philosophy

At SUM5th, we embrace the beauty of imperfection and the value of longevity. Our pieces are designed to be a permanent part of your journey—from quiet shores to vibrant city nights. To maintain the purity and quality that define our brand, we have established the following standards.

2. The Purity Standard (Return Criteria)

To be eligible for a return, your item must remain in its original, pristine condition:

  • The Golden Rule (Hygienic Liners): For hygienic reasons, all swimwear bottoms and one-pieces must have the original hygienic liner intact. If the liner has been removed, repositioned, or shows any signs of tampering, the return will be strictly rejected and the item sent back at the customer's expense.
  • Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and free of any stains (makeup, deodorant, sunscreen) or odors (perfume, smoke).
  • Defect Reporting: Any damaged or defective items must be reported with photo evidence within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Tags & Packaging: All tags must be attached. Items must be returned in the original SUM5th dust bag and box. A $10 fee applies if packaging is missing or damaged.

3. Return Window

You have 14 days from the delivery date to initiate a return.

4. International Returns (Outside the U.S.)

  • Final Sale: All international orders are considered Final Sale unless the customer assumes full responsibility for all return shipping costs, duties, and taxes.
  • Non-Refundable: Original international shipping fees and customs duties are non-refundable.

5. Fees & Refunds

  • Restocking Fee: A flat $8.00 fee is deducted from U.S. refunds for processing.
  • Refused Packages: If a package is refused or undeliverable, the original shipping fee is non-refundable, and a $15 handling fee will be deducted.
  • Sale Items: Items marked "Final Sale" or bought with 30%+ discounts are ineligible for return.
  • Processing: Refunds take 7-10 business days after a 5-day inspection period.

6. No Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Please return your item for a refund and place a new order.

A Gentle Note: Please wear undergarments when trying on swimwear and keep the hygienic liner in place. Thank you for respecting the purity of our community.
